Senior Consultant, Director of Training Services

Lee Nold-Lewis began her career as an educator in the Aurora, Colorado public school system. She rose through the ranks, eventually becoming President of the Aurora Education Association. Upon relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, Lee took her skills in education, training, and management in a new direction. She began working with Manpower Temporary Services, first as Branch Manager, then as General Manager.

Responding to an innate entrepreneurial instinct, in 1989 Lee founded ProShow, a national event staffing & management company. Two years later, Lee was named San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.

Lee and her team travel across the country training and managing local on-site event staff for large trade shows, association meetings and events. Utilizing tools and techniques developed over the years, the team arrives on-site, and in just a few days, they evaluate, select, train, deploy, and manage the event support staff. Their largest show, Consumer Electronics Show (CES), requires hundreds of temporary staff to support as many as 180,000 attendees.

Although CES is the largest event that Lee has managed, she has provided training, management, and staffing services to the following organizations, in addition to many others:

  • American Academy of Periodontology
  • American College of Cardiology
  • American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists
  • American Dental Association
  • American Society for Reproductive Medicine
  • American Society of Clinical Oncology
  • American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology
  • American Speech Language and Hearing Association
  • Consumer Electronics Show
  • HIMSS
  • Society of Critical Care Medicine

Areas of Expertise

During her three decades with ProShow (as well as her time working in public education) Lee has developed an arsenal of tools and techniques to deliver exceptional customer service training in a short time frame. This, along with her ability to quickly assess the skills of staff members, ensures customers will have a positive experience. While event staffer names and faces change, the staff selection and training systems do not. Time-tested programs produce the same high-quality outcomes time after time.

Recognizing the need for patient access, scheduling, customer service, and other areas in hospital operations to provide excellent customer service to patients, their families and the community, Lee works to hardwire the necessary skills, attitudes and communication techniques among staff. Lee is an important member of the Hritz Management Services senior consulting team bringing her significant skills in the following areas:

  • Talent identification and evaluation
  • Development of targeted training programs
  • Development of customer-service programs
  • Development of staff motivation and incentive programs
  • Staff education and training
  • Staff skills evaluation
  • Crisis management
